Who are Volunteers?

The Body volunteers are members of the church who work together to serve our church body and others in the community to advance the Kingdom for Jesus.

How do I volunteer at The Body?

Become a member of the church (see the Commit section for Membership information), check out the volunteer teams below, and complete a Volunteer application so we can know a little bit more about you. Fill this one out if you already know which team you want to serve with or use this form if you're not certain yet. What opportunities are available?

The Body has many areas of ministry that are made up of multiple volunteer teams who serve on Sundays and during the week. Sign up for one of the teams below and someone will contact you about your next step.

1.  Body Greeters - Body Greeter teams believe that first impressions make a huge impact. These teams are made up of individuals who love creating welcoming environments for every guest at The Body.

2.  Discipleship - Are you comfortable leading a bible study or guiding new believers through their next steps? If you are, you might be a good fit for the discipleship team.

3.  Kid Mix - Our Children's Ministry volunteers are people with a passion to see children experience Jesus on their level. Volunteers serve kids, birth through fifth grade, in safe, age–appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.  

4.  Student Ministry - This ministry is for volunteers who have a heart to see High School and Middle School students grow and fall in love with Jesus daily.

5.  Campus Support - These team members are involved with overall repair, maintenance and upkeep for indoor and outdoor premises of the campus.

6.  Encourage & Outreach - From prayer and encouragement to community projects, these teams serve people in need of love and support.

7.  Creative & Technical Arts -From operating cameras and sound to trouble-shooting computer issues, the Creative and Technical Arts teams use their skills in media production and technology to keep The Body on the cutting edge.

8.  Special Events - This team is responsible for planning and coordinating special events at The Body Church.  If you have skills in marketing, are creative and love planning events this team is for you.

9.  Communication and Marketing - From printing the weekly church handouts to designing all printed material and business cards, the Communication and Marketing team uses their skills in print design and mass marketing to keep The Body on the cutting edge. This team will also work closely with the Creative and Technical Arts team in designing The Body Website.
